IT’S TIME TO PUT PATIENTS BEFORE POLITICS.

Britain is facing unprecedented healthcare challenges. In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, waiting lists are at a record level, with over seven million people currently waiting for specialist clinical care or surgery, alongside a recruitment and retention crisis in the NHS with over 100,000 advertised vacancies.

The Patients First Coalition, part of the wider Purpose Coalition, is about putting patients before politics, by utilising the whole healthcare sector - public and private - to get people the care they need, now.

If we do just that, Britain can drive down waiting lists, and deliver better quality care. That means longer, healthier lives for people across the country - especially those in the most disadvantaged communities.

WHY THE WHOLE

HEALTH COMMUNITY

NEEDS TO COME TOGETHER

7 million people in Britain today are currently on an NHS waiting list.

Just 29% of people are currently satisfied with healthcare services in Britain.

371,000 people are waiting more than a year to be seen for treatment.

“The Patients First Coalition is about harnessing the power of the whole health community to ensure people get the care they need, when they need it. Our cross-sector work showcases the value every healthcare organisation provides to cut our record waiting lists and support the NHS”
